Hollow Formed Circular Pendant with Utah Conglomerate

Unusual pendant is hollow formed and textured with a unique turtle shell pattern, that seems to embody the organic nature of the Utah Conglomerate cabochon.  In geologic terms, a conglomerate is a form of rock, that contains older rocks. 90-85 million years old, these rocks are composed of sandstone and quartzite. Pendant is 0.9 inches in diameter, 0.2" thick and hangs from a 17" sterling silver chain. The piece has been oxidized to enhance the texture and lend beauty to its' organic nature.
